Statement to the Human Rights Council, 13 June

This statement to the Human Rights Council reiterates support for the report of the UN Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions on ‘lethal autonomous robotic weapons’ and issues a call for a pre-emptive ban on the development, production, and use of fully autonomous weapons through an international treaty as well as through national laws and other measures.
