Statement to the 72nd UN General Assembly First Committee on Disarmament and International Security

This statement was delivered to delegates attending the 72nd UN General Assembly (UNGA) First Committee on Disarmament and International Security. The statement warns that concerns are mounting over the future of fully autonomous weapons as states continue to invest in development of these weapons systems. However, that there is interest in taking action shows there is likely a strong foundation of support for creating new international law.
