Policy Brief for CCW meeting on lethal autonomous weapons systems, 2-6 November
This policy brief highlights the need for states to outline parameters of unacceptability for autonomous weapon systems and steps to ensure meaningful human control over the use of force.
This policy brief tackles two fundamental questions (listed below) that states need to answer, from the perspective of the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots.
1. Would certain weapons systems or configurations be unacceptable per se?
2. How can meaningful human control be ensured over any technologies that remain?
