Recommendations on the Normative and Operational Framework for Autonomous Weapon Systems

In response to the letter on 26 April 2021 from the Group of Governmental Experts (GGE) Chair, the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots proposed recommendations on a normative and operational framework for autonomous weapon systems.

Recommendations cover:

• Characteristics
• Ethical, moral, operational and legal concerns
• A structure for regulation, including general and positive obligations, and prohibitions
• A legally binding instrument as a form of regulation
