The Risks of Autonomous Weapons and the Role of the Scientific Community

Join Seguridad Humana para América Latina y el Caribe (SEHLAC) for its Spanish-language panel discussion on the risks of autonomous weapons and the role that scientists in Latin America can play in tackling this urgent threat. The panel will take place during the RIIAA 2021 International Meeting of Artificial Intelligence and its Applications. The conference brings together the Mexican and Latin American artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem. Emphasizing the interaction between actors based in Mexico and abroad, as well as the academic and industrial communities, in order to catalyze the development, adaptation and use of AI in the country.
