The Methodist Church of Southern Africa, in partnership with the World Council of Churches, will be hosting a virtual briefing meeting for church leaders only to discuss a legally-binding treaty on fully autonomous weapons. A new treaty should combine prohibitions as well as positive
obligations to ban fully autonomous weapons and retain meaningful human control over the use of all systems that select and engage targets.
