4th Workshop: 2020. Capturing Technologies. Rethinking Arms Control

Tune in to watch Campaign Coordinator, Mary Wareham, speak at this event on options and prospects for multi-stakeholder approaches to arms control negotiations as part of the German Federal Foreign Office’s two-day virtual event. The event is designed to build understanding of the closely interconnected progress in spheres such as artificial intelligence, cyber-instruments, new missile technologies, space and quantum computing with the aim of discussing how novel approaches to arms control may contribute to strengthening international security and stability.

This event is hosted in partnership with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Washington D.C., the Fondation pour la Recherche Stratégique, Paris, the International Institute for Strategic Studies, London, the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute and the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research, Geneva.
