The Media & Communications Manager for the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots is Clare Conboy, based in Geneva, Switzerland. In her role, she builds the Campaign’s media profile and presence, oversees production of visual content, and engages the public through digital communications. She previously worked as Communications & Web Manager for the Acronym Institute for Disarmament Diplomacy and ICAN in the UK.

Clare also served on the International Steering Group of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), 2017 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, and co-led the photo, video and social media teams during the negotiations on the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

The Project Officer for the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots is Farah Bogani, based in Ottawa, Canada. In her role, she provides support through logistics and coordination. Previously, she spent a year and a half working at Amnesty International’s Secretariat office in London, UK supporting the Secretary General and the Senior Director for Research. While at Amnesty, Farah conducted human rights research in business and tech. She has also worked conducting research in artificial intelligence, nuclear warfare, and cybersecurity for the International Security Department at Chatham House. Farah holds a Master of Science in Human Rights from the London School of Economics in England and a Master of Arts in International Relations and Comparative Literature from the University of St Andrews in Scotland.

The Government Relations Manager for the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots is Ousman Noor, based in Geneva, Switzerland. In his role, he liaises with diplomats, UN officials, representatives from international institutions and civil society activists to build greater policy coherence for an international ban treaty. Ousman is a trained lawyer who previously worked for the Centre Suisse pour la Défense des Droits des Migrants in Geneva defending the rights of migrants. Before moving to Switzerland, Ousman served as a Barrister in the United Kingdom, where he spent a decade representing individuals in over 1,000 cases concerning human rights, refugees, trafficking, modern slavery, torture, deportation and humanitarian protection. He was the Director of the Habeas Corpus Project, a law center challenging unlawful detention. Ousman has a law degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London, where he served as a senior teaching fellow. He also has a master’s degree in social anthropology from Linacre College at the University of Oxford.
